Mathematics for Economists

My Maths 2 lecture is based on Simon a. Blume ''Mathematics for Economists'' and Miranda and Fackler ''Applied Computational Economics and Finance''. There is a webpage accompanying this book: Fackler/Miranda. I stressed (inter alia) Computational Mathematics. For practical exercises we will use Matlab and/or Octave. The later is free! The link is Octave. You can download my lecture notes: Lecture Notes and the matlab files: Matlab Files. If you click on the macro you can find a lot of links to Web-pages where you can download software (in matlab)
